[MOH] - Austin MOH Ranked (68.232.175.39:7673) - 24 Slots

I rented a 24 slot Medal of Honor ranked server in Dallas to see if the community is interested in getting behind this game. The release is scheduled for tomorrow (Oct 12th) in the US. I'm not sure that I am even going to buy the game, but I thought I'd give the community a place to play if they choose to do so.

Currently, there are no rules for this server or admins. I'll worry about those things if anyone ever actually plays there.

Thanks very much Leadly, I actually wasn't intending on getting this title, and wait it out untill Black Ops, but if I see some interest from AS people i'll jump on the bandwagon. I'm certainly prepared to give it a chance if theres a handful of others interested.

Thanks for the server leadly. So far me, double and edavy have the game preordered, not sure who else has it tho. I will get it jump started tomorrow with my day off.

I was also not expecting this. I thought the community was going to go with Black Ops, and was going to recommend to ASers that if they were weighing which one to get, that CoD:BO would be the one that AS has a server for.

Well, now I don't feel so guilty for pre ordering MoH. We'll see you online!

I will be picking this up on the way home. Didn't pre-order it as I was waiting to see if DS support was there and just how things were going to play out.

it's a true pity that your generosity is wasted on such an awful game lead -- i was also hoping for fun times with the regs, but sadly the new MoH is a bit crap. here's hoping Brink will be better.

I agree with Trip. I thought it would be great but it feels like dice didnt care about the multiplayer. I really wish that danger close created the mp because i believe they did an awesome job with the singleplayer. Singleplayer is the best thing about this game. Of course it had some hollywood styled parts in it but it was a lot more believable compared to a game like mw2.

Tried connecting last night, but the server browser function appears to be broken. I presume that's what lead meant by master server issues.
Anyone have suggestions on how to connect using the IP? I could not figure out how to open the console in the 90 seconds of effort I put into it.

I'm going to go ahead an shut the server off since the consensus seems to be that the game sucks. At least I can be glad I didn't waste my money buying yet another FPS turd of a game.

Well i guess the rapid consensus on this one will save me the money getting it.

I'm surprised even the review websites that EA have probably paid alot of money to get good reviews from, only have mediocre things to say at best.

Lets hope Black Ops lives up to its hype better than MoH.

If everyone's in on CoD Black Ops then I may get it later on in the month. There are so many games coming out over the next few months I need to save my money. :D I want to play with my AS peeps again.

PS: Fallout New Vegas comes out in a few days, I'm definitely buying that one.

When I first got this game, I thought it was really good. Then I started playing it a bit more... wow, I've never had a game crash this much in over 5 years. So many glitches and bugs in this game it's amazing how it got through beta testing. Anyways, see you guys in Black Ops in a couple weeks lol
